If you fly out of Sea-Tac, a new place to wait is coming. The Port of Seattle Commission unanimously approved a 15-year lease on Oct. 27 for a Chase Sapphire Lounge at the end of the A concourse, beside the expanded Delta One Lounge.
The lounge will take over The Club at SEA's Concourse A space, and that club is expected to move into the current United Club space. Planned amenities include shower suites, digital food ordering, and a bar.
- Chase customers' share of 2025 Sea-Tac boardings: 12%
- Lounge-eligible boardings: about 500,000 of 3.1 million
- Cardholders' guests: up to two free, then $27 each
- Sea-Tac's second credit card lounge, after American Express Centurion
Small businesses worried about lost revenue, so commissioners also approved a five-year study of lounges' effect on neighboring dining and retail tenants, an amendment Commissioner Toshiko Hasegawa introduced. It adds about $500,000 a year, with a first report due by the second quarter of 2027. No opening date is set; One Mile at a Time estimated the project could be done as early as 2028.
