About this event

Join ARTS at King Street Station for a curator-led tour of Visions of Worldbuilding with Eula Scott Bynoe, exploring the stories, creative practices, and connections woven throughout the exhibition.

Centering the ways of knowing of Black and Brown women and femmes, Visions of Worldbuilding explores mothering as both a metaphor and a method—a practice of care, protection, remembrance, and imagining otherwise.

Through a guided exploration of the exhibition, Eula will share insights into the featured artworks, the artists' stories, and the relationships between their visions. Moving through themes of belonging, inheritance, grief, embodiment, and reclamation, the tour offers a deeper understanding of how personal histories, cultural memory, and lived experiences inform the worlds we create.

This is an opportunity to engage with the stories behind the art and reflect on the people and practices that make our worlds possible.
