The beloved Waterfront Farmers Market kicks off its 2024 season on Thursday, June 6th and will run through August 29th. The market will be open every Thursday (with the exception of July 4th) from 1-6pm at Skansie Brothers Park on Harborview Dr. in Gig Harbor. The Waterfront Farmers Market boasts a diverse selection of vendors, offering everything from fresh, locally-grown produce, flowers, and herbs to gourmet mushrooms, seafood, eggs, and lavender. Visitors can also find an enticing array of prepared foods and beverages, including zero-proof cocktails, wine, spices, baked goods, specialty sauces, coffee, ice cream, and even chef-prepared meals ready to take home. In addition to the exceptional food offerings, the market showcases a collection of talented artisans and crafters, featuring candles, bath and body products, jewelry, woodwork, and more. The market also reflects a strong sense of community, with the Mayor opening the first day, local musicians performing weekly, a dedicated and highly engaging Kids Corner with relevant and new activities each week, and support from a variety of dedicated local volunteers and community focused organizations.
