- ➤ Experts warn that WA air travel will not bounce back quickly since air traffic controllers and maintenance technicians remain overworked and equipment repairs are delayed—issues that may cause nationwide travel delays into the busy Thanksgiving week. Local airports have yet to feel full closures, but the strain in the air traffic system suggests gradual improvements. FOX 13
- ➤ The longest government shutdown ended but air travel at SEA remains disrupted. At 5 a.m. Thursday, officials reported 64 cancellations and nine delays—FAA said that a 6% flight reduction and staffing issues from delayed back pay and retirements are slowing the return to normal operations.
