About this event

The Women’s Institute for Solidarity and Empowerment (WISE) invites you to our first ever Mariposa Gala! Join us for a night of uplifting the leadership of working and migrant women and celebrating their vibrant people’s victories and ongoing fights for change in our community. Our Mariposa Gala will include a cocktail hour and dinner, a silent auction, cultural performances, sharings from migrant women leaders, and a “virtual tour” of our vision for our WISE Resource Center to strengthen our ability to support the leadership of marginalized women as changemakers. All proceeds from this gala will go toward providing resources for working & migrant women and their families to sustain their changemaking efforts. We invite you to dress in formal celebratory and/or cultural attire!
