Classical Ballet - Beginning - Ages 6-8

Join us for Beginning Ballet , designed for young dancers ages 6–8 with little to no previous ballet experience, or up to two years of training. Using a combination of the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and the Tempo-Level-Energy and Shapes program, this class builds a strong foundation in classical ballet while introducing proper technique, vocabulary, posture, musicality, and classroom etiquette. Through fun, structured barre and center exercises, dancers develop strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and focus while learning the fundamentals that will prepare them for continued ballet training. Our encouraging classroom environment helps students build discipline, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of dance. Please note: Age ranges are provided as a general guide to help families determine an appropriate starting point. Class placement is based on each dancer’s experience, ability, maturity, and individual needs. With instructor consultation, students may be recommended for a different level or encouraged to add additional classes when appropriate.
