Shama Shams: What Sustains Us

About this event

Gallery B612 presents What Sustains Us, a solo exhibition by photographer Shajukta Shama Shams exploring migration, memory, womanhood, and survival. Through photographic transfers, mixed media, and documentary-inspired imagery, Shams brings together works shaped by experiences across Bangladesh, Portugal, Ecuador, Turkey, and the United States. The exhibition reflects on the emotional and cultural connections we carry across borders, examining what sustains us as we navigate displacement, belonging, and the search for home.
