No matter where we live in Pierce County, we all are grappling with the challenges of urbanization, and environmental and social health disparities, from the urban heat island effect to water pollution.
Join our 5th Annual State of the Urban Forest to learn how Pierce County is centering trees to address the challenges of climate change and population growth:
• Pierce County Land Conservation Plan • Urban growth strategies • The new Community Tree Program between Pierce County and Tacoma Tree Foundation •
Support our fundraising call to ensure everyone who calls Pierce County home lives in climate resilient places with high tree equity, cool, beautiful, and safe streets.
