(Federal Way) Repair Café @ So. King Tool Library

About this event

Join the South King Tool Library (SKTL) for our free fix-it events! Bring your damaged furniture, broken small household items, dull knives, torn clothing, appliances, toys and so much more . Our fixers will do their best to make your stuff usable again. Aspiring fixers and tinkerers are invited to learn about repairs all day – learn to fix items yourself! You'll get detailed notes about what broke, parts needed, and how they fixed it, or how you can do it yourself.

Details:

• First come, first served. Plan to stay during the repair. • Bring any manuals and/or parts and components to help us fix and test. • NO items that are oversized, leaking, contain gasoline, or have a strong odor. NO items containing hazardous materials. NO broken cell phone screens, locked out electronics, or microwaves. • Expert fixers will do their best to fix items, but no guarantees. • Limit 3 items for sharpening. • Sewing repairs only, no alterations/rebuilds.
