The California Honeydrops

About this event

THE CALIFORNIA HONEYDROPS SWEET LIKE THAT TOUR ’26 Friday, November 20, 2026 Airport Tavern Music Hall — Tacoma, WA 7PM Doors | 8PM Show | 21+ Clear some space on the dance floor—The California Honeydrops are bringing the Sweet Like That Tour ’26 to Tacoma. Born in the subway stations of Oakland, The California Honeydrops have built their reputation by turning every room they enter into a full-blown celebration. Their sound pulls from vintage soul, New Orleans R&B, funk, blues, gospel and roots music, all tied together with booming horns, deep grooves and the kind of joyful energy that refuses to let anybody stand still. This is not a hit-play-and-run-through-the-set kind of band. The Honeydrops feed off the crowd, stretch songs into sweaty dance-floor jams and make the whole night feel spontaneous, loose and completely alive. One minute it’s smooth and soulful; the next, the horns are blasting, the room is clapping and strangers are dancing together like they showed up in the same car. Come ready to move, sing loud and leave happier than you arrived. The California Honeydrops are sweet, funky and dangerously easy to dance to. Grab your tickets and join the party.
