About this event

Nancy Salguero, Executive Director of the Highline Heritage Museum, is the first Mexican-born director in Washington State. Born and raised in Mexico City, for almost 20 years, Nancy, with a team of volunteers and community members, works to preserve, collect, and tell stories of the Highline region and its people. She was an Exhibit Design instructor for the UW Professional and Continuing Education certificate program for two years. Nancy’s awards include the Washington Museum Association, the Association of King County Historical Organizations, the 2022 Citizen of the Year for the City of Burien, and other special recognitions. She has served as a board member of multiple organizations. Nancy is the past Chair of the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce and a Washington Museum Association Board member. Southwest Business and Professional women are delighted to welcome Nancy Salguero on November 19 at 6:00 p.m. to share an update on the museum, where they are today, and what they are looking forward to in this next chapter. A lot is happening, and Nancy looks forward to the opportunity to share it with the group and answer questions.
