  • Former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, a Vancouver native, died along with six others in a plane crash at Statesville Regional Airport in North Carolina on Thursday as the Cessna C550 was landing.  FOX 13

  • Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium welcomed a new male Asian small-clawed otter and celebrated the birth of a healthy pup to first-time parents Sebastian and Pintar in mid-November. Keepers now manage separate habitats so the otter families can thrive.  KOMO News

  • After devastating floods inundated communities in western Washington, thousands of homeowners now face a long recovery — insurance coverage questions remain as officials monitor flood conditions.  FOX 13
  • Yesterday, a final push of an atmospheric river hit western Washington, leaving rain-soaked soils that may trigger landslides for days. Residents on hillsides should monitor property for signs of movement until a dry spell helps lower the risk.  KOMO News
