  • Sound Transit will open the Federal Way light rail extension this weekend adding eight new miles of service and three new stations to ease traffic. Riders will take 50 minutes to reach Seattle and 15 minutes to get to the airport—Sound Transit plans further expansion toward Tacoma Dome next year.  FOX 13
