- ➤ Kuni is a 1-year-old shorthaired rabbit who is the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County's Pet of the Week and is described as curious and brave. The rabbit is looking for a forever home and often follows people around the house. FOX 13
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The FAA told airlines to cut flights by 4% at 40 major airports including Sea-Tac — a move that has caused thousands of delays and over 1,400 cancellations in one day. Travel advisors warn that if the shutdown continues and cuts rise to 10%, more disruptions will hit holiday travelers. KOMO News
- ➤ Sound Transit will shut down sections of the Link 1 Line this weekend and on select December dates for maintenance, repair, and to connect with the 2 Line, with shuttle buses replacing trains during closures—riders should check alerts and adjust plans accordingly. The planned shutdowns are part of routine work and preview additional service changes ahead. KOMO News
- ➤ Passengers at Sea-Tac Airport experienced increased delays and cancellations on November 9 as the federal shutdown left air traffic controllers unpaid—65 delays and 61 cancellations were recorded.
