  • ➤ Military families near bases have turned to food pantries as the government shutdown continues — with troops facing delayed pay on Oct. 15. The Armed Services YMCA has recorded a 34% rise in assistance requests and is working to boost food supplies — aiming to support those in need.  FOX 13
