- ➤ Wild Waves Fright Fest returns with its Chamber of Souls haunted house—recommended for ages 13 and up—and will use 20 scare actors to create an adult-themed attraction inspired by The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. FOX 13

- ➤ On Thursday, hundreds of nurses at St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale picketed outside to demand better staffing + security and higher pay during ongoing contract talks with CommonSpirit. They said improved safety measures and more staff are needed to address understaffing and safety concerns following recent incidents in the region. KOMO News

- ➤ Alaska Airlines will add an extra flight Monday morning from Seattle to Detroit for Mariners fans to support their team at an away game—passengers will ride on a Mariners-themed aircraft that features a DJ and a visit by the Mariner Moose honoring Hall of Famer Dave Niehaus. KOMO News
- ➤ On October 1 the Mariners held a scrimmage to prepare for the playoffs. Manager Dan Wilson said the sold-out 5,000-seat venue—where fans paid $10 for tickets—gave players extra practice and a taste of the excitement ahead of Game 1 of the ALDS on Saturday. KOMO News
