Two northbound lanes on SR 167 near Third Ave in Pacific were closed after a car hit a bridge Wednesday afternoon—inspectors reported the damage was significant and crews are assessing repairs while southbound lanes remained open, causing delays.

Today, WSDOT warns drivers of traffic delays in western Washington as roadwork begins on I-5, I-405, I-90, and SR-18 with closures and detours in effect until Sept 29 — work may be rescheduled if rain falls.

Crews will repair pavement, replace concrete panels, and install drainage crossings to keep travel safe.
