- ➤ On October 11, the City of Tacoma and the Green Tacoma Partnership will host Green Tacoma Day at 13 parks and green spaces where volunteers can plant native trees and shrubs, remove invasive weeds, and clear litter—tools and guidance will be provided for all ages. City of Tacoma
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Washington voters prepare for the general election this November and ballots will be mailed starting Oct. 17 — same-day registration will be available until Oct. 27. The ballot, which will include nearly 3,000 races and a statewide measure, requires voters to follow mailing or drop box instructions to count. FOX 13
- ➤ The City of Tacoma Public Works Department will launch Pothole Palooza on September 30 through October 13 to repair 10 arterial road locations across five council districts using funds from the Tacoma Streets Initiative I fund. Traffic control measures will be in place to guide drivers and pedestrians safely around work zones—protecting everyone during the repairs. City of Tacoma
