ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Washington state currently leads the nation with gas prices at $4.66 per gallon while the Seattle area averages $4.81, surpassing California’s $4.64 measured on September 14. The gas tax that began on July 1 added 6 cents per gallon and planned annual increases for unleaded and diesel will further raise costs to fund road projects—affecting drivers' travel plans.
