The FBI arrested 15 people—members of a violent Tacoma street gang—in a major fentanyl trafficking bust in Pierce County.

Local leaders from Western WA are expected to unveil plans to address retail theft that is affecting stores across the region—more details on the measures will follow soon.

The FBI said a violent Tacoma street gang used women — and perfume — to smuggle fentanyl through SeaTac, arresting 15 people in a large Pierce County bust reported August 21st.

The City of Tacoma’s Public Works Department will repair asphalt at the intersection of 72nd Street East and Portland Avenue East on September 6 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The work will reduce the intersection to one lane—drivers should use caution and find alternate routes.
