On September 4 at 5:30 p.m., the City of Tacoma will open the J Street Neighborhood Greenway at Edna Travis Park at 2301 South J Street with a bike ride for families that starts at 5:30 p.m. and a streamer ceremony at 6 p.m.; the new two mile route will improve safety and connect local schools, parks, businesses — a key step for the neighborhood.
