- ➤ U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi sent a letter on August 13 warning Governor Bob Ferguson that Washington’s sanctuary policies hinder federal immigration enforcement and could lead to a cut in federal funding—Ferguson said the state would not change its policy and will give a full response on August 19.
