A prisoner escaped from DOC custody at Sea-Tac Airport Tuesday evening—he fled after crossing the pedestrian bridge toward International Boulevard and his escape marks the third this year as police continue their search.

North Tyler Street in Tacoma will be closed for maintenance work as part of the Residential Street Restoration Program from August 18 to September 30 - the work is weather dependent and community members may call Jeff Maki at 253-591-5495 with questions.
