- ➤ A prisoner escaped from DOC custody at Sea-Tac Airport Tuesday evening—he fled after crossing the pedestrian bridge toward International Boulevard and his escape marks the third this year as police continue their search. KOMO News

- ➤ North Tyler Street in Tacoma will be closed for maintenance work as part of the Residential Street Restoration Program from August 18 to September 30 - the work is weather dependent and community members may call Jeff Maki at 253-591-5495 with questions. City of Tacoma
