- ➤ Alaska Airlines announced that it will launch nonstop flights from Seattle to London and summer nonstop flights to Reykjavik next spring. The expansion will add the fourth and fifth international routes from SeaTac International Airport (the carrier aims to have at least 12 such routes by 2030). FOX 13
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Governor Bob Ferguson joined the call for help for Jonathan Hoang, a 21-year-old (with a developmental disability) who disappeared on March 30 by sharing his missing poster on August 5th. He urged the community to look for any signs of Hoang in local areas. FOX 13

- ➤ A local IRONMAN 70.3 athlete will race in the Tri-Cities on Sept. 21 to honor his daughter—he discussed his tribute on Studio 13 Live. FOX 13
