- ➤ Closing arguments began in the criminal trial of a man accused of accidentally shooting and killing a mom of 9 in the parking lot of a Pierce County convenience store in 2022 — both sides presented their final points before a verdict is reached. FOX 13
- ➤ Salman Haji, 20, is accused of fatally shooting a 67-year-old woman during a purse theft outside a Costco in Tukwila on Jan. 26 and after fleeing to Kenya he was returned by the FBI—he appeared in court Thursday and faces charges of murder, attempted robbery, robbery, and carjacking. KOMO News
- ➤ A failed towing attempt in University Place severely damaged a local business & crushed a vehicle's front end after multiple efforts, with the driver and passenger fleeing the scene and police investigating the hit-and-run. FOX 13
