BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Alaska Airlines will launch its TSA PreCheck Touchless ID program at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on June 26 to let TSA PreCheck customers use facial recognition instead of showing physical IDs (passengers must opt-in via their Mileage Plan account). Other cities such as Los Angeles and Portland will follow in early July. FOX 13

- ➤ A report from June 18 said Social Security funds will run out by 2034 due to rising health care costs and benefit changes, and a study from GOBankingRates broke down retirement costs by state—finding that Washington residents need about $126,952 a year and over $2.5 million saved to retire at 60.
