CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A former Army sergeant from JBLM pleaded guilty to trying to share classified military secrets with China — Joseph Daniel Schmidt, who served with the 109th Military Intelligence Battalion from 2015 to 2020, offered a secure network device and will face court on Sept. 9 for two federal felonies. - ➤ Tacoma police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon outside Lincoln High School—classes were in session—and they are searching for a suspect. FOX 13
- ➤ The U.S. Marshals service is asking the public to share any information on Elijah Dominick Hylton, a 29-year-old suspect wanted for first-degree murder after he shot Ty Jenkins in a second-floor parking garage at Emerald Queen Casino in August 2020, and authorities warn not to approach him but to call 911 immediately.
