Good morning, Tacoma. Here's your local news at a glance for Saturday, the 7th of June.

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The Washington Department of Ecology expanded its drought emergency to include counties across the central Cascades and Puget Sound region—early warm weather melted snow two to four weeks ahead of schedule. This move provides funding to help local farmers, fish, and water supplies face worsening drought conditions.  KOMO News
