- ➤ Tacoma police are searching for Heather Person, 47, who is accused of intentionally running over another woman with a truck on Pacific Ave near South 88th Street on April 29 — the victim was pinned beneath the vehicle and taken to the hospital with serious injuries while officers continue their manhunt. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Tacoma City Council will hold a public hearing on proposed updates to the One Tacoma Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Regulatory Code on June 3 at a hybrid meeting starting no earlier than 5:15 p.m. Written comments must be mailed or emailed by June 2—community members with questions may contact Principal Planner Stephen Atkinson.
