- ➤ A new report from the Northwest Seaport Alliance showed that international imports at the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma rose 28% while void sailings increased to 17 for May and June, five more than last year, and truck traffic fell nearly 15% in late April. French antiques importer Hana Wilson said a container delay—lasting over 60 days—has left her worried that shipping issues and rising tariffs could impact her business. FOX 13

- ➤ On May 13, lawmakers passed a law that raises fines for littering on Washington roadways—this means people who throw trash will pay more. Officials say the new law will help keep streets cleaner—and enforcement will be tougher. FOX 13
