- ➤ A 15-year-old accused of fatally stabbing his mom’s 23-year-old boyfriend in an April dispute in Pierce County appeared before a judge on Thursday—he pleaded not guilty while the court denied his mother's request for home release and the state plans to try him as an adult. FOX 13
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Pierce County Sheriff Keith Swank opposed the council’s resolution today that limits county resources for federal immigration work, saying it is unconstitutional — he plans to challenge it at the U.S. Supreme Court — and warned it could cause funding confusion.
