ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Police investigated a crash near the intersection of Waller Road East and East 41st Street after a Chief Leschi Schools bus and a sedan collided Tuesday at about 7:55 a.m.—the sedan’s driver suffered critical injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital while all bus passengers were evaluated with no injuries reported.  FOX 13

CRIME NEWS

  • Two Bremerton women, Heather Marquis and Emily Vranic, face federal mail fraud charges that allege they stole mail and defrauded 278 victims of $620,000 over five years—Marquis remains in custody after pleading not guilty while Vranic was released pending trial.  KOMO News

  • A memorial bench now stands permanently in Fife — honoring Army National Guard Lieutenant Rudy King and his dedicated service to the community.  FOX 13
