ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Authorities reported two people died in a house fire near Gig Harbor Tuesday night and investigators are probing its suspicious cause—neighbors said a large explosion occurred before the home was engulfed in flames. FOX 13
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ On March 29 at 12:24 a.m., two teenagers were fatally shot at a large house party after neighbors repeatedly urged 911 to shut it down — a 17-year-old has been arrested amid delays as police responded to multiple incidents that night. KOMO News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Conservative watchdogs raised concerns yesterday when they claimed that $500,000 in the state budget intended for greener projects was instead being used to reward political allies—raising questions about the proper use of funds in Washington. FOX 13
- ➤ Washington state lawmakers are considering House Bill 2071 to tax online dating companies $1 per month for every user which could raise about $6 million each year for domestic violence programs – the measure was introduced by Representative Lauren Davis and may be discussed during upcoming budget negotiations.
