- ➤ An ICE detainee—Alvaro Flores-Barboza, a criminal alien from Venezuela—escaped from the Northwest ICE Processing Center amid a severe storm in Tacoma and was recaptured by local Oregon authorities. KOMO News
- ➤ On Friday, a Tacoma man shot and killed his neighbor after alleging that his neighbor had strangled him, with deputies arriving at 4:29 p.m. on the 4400 block of 60th St. Ct. E while detectives continue investigating the incident and the suspect remains in custody. KOMO News
- ➤ Early Saturday morning, deputies responded to a Tacoma house party on the 17800 block of 25th Ave. Ct. E where gunfire killed two teens and injured four others while about 30 to 40 juveniles fled the scene and investigators recovered shell casings and two weapons. KOMO News
