- ➤ Pierce County Human Services and community partners exceeded their goal during a 100-day prevention challenge by keeping 171 youth and young adults from becoming homeless (the goal was 113) and are planning further steps to sustain these efforts. FOX 13
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Alaska Airlines announced it will add 16 round-trip flights from SeaTac airport to Bay Area airports ahead of the Super Bowl at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, with extra service by United, Delta, and American scheduled from Feb. 5 to Feb. 9. FOX 13
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Navy Region Northwest began its anti-terrorism exercise Monday morning and it will run until Feb. 6 at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island & other local bases; residents may see temporary traffic delays and gate closures but need not worry. KOMO News
