Pre-Thanksgiving Volunteering

Before the official Thanksgiving holiday, let's help Thurston County Food Bank provide some of our local neighbors with Thanksgiving boxes!

Shift description:

• Distributing food to food bank clients via a drive-through food pickup model.

• Assisting food bank staff in our drive-up distribution of food. This work will include directing clients into and out of our pickup parking area. They will also assist clients with loading their food into their vehicles as needed.

• Direct incoming traffic to our service area. Volunteers will be placed at intersections and other key points along the approach to our service site.

• All jobs will be outside, standing, and in the elements. Please be prepared for the weather!

• After you've applied, go back to the Volunteer page and scroll down to the calendar and click on on Tues, Nov 24th

• Select the option for 2026 Thanksgiving Distribution at St. Martins from 12pm-4pm
