About this event
Come join the Qabila Dance Company for our first SWANA Dance Festival in Seattle on November 14 and 15 as we celebrate the wonderful and rich cultural traditions of dance and music from Southwest Asia and North Africa.
This weekend includes:
• 4 FREE public classes (open to all ages) on Saturday with Samia Karimi, Izumi Fairbanks, Seattle Dabke, and Aubre Hill
• A special Saturday evening performance featuring Qabila Dance Co. and guest artists Samia Karimi and Black Sea Dance with Izumi
• 2 dance workshops on Sunday with Samia Karimi and Aubre Hill
We are so excited to be hosting this special opportunity to study with dance educators and artists of the culture in a format that is open to the broader community!
